Locum Physician - Oncology
Position Type: Locum
Specialty: Physician - Oncology
Location: Findlay, OH
Shift: Outpatient clinic 4 to 5 days per week; 1:4 call; Week of call runs Friday 8:00 a.m. through following Friday 8:00 a.m.
Position Details: Preferred coverage of 2 to 4 weeks on-site each month. Mix of outpatient oncology care and inpatient call coverage. On-site hospital rounding required during call weekends. Required attendance at tumor board during on-site working weeks.
Patient Population: New and follow-up oncology patients; benign hematology patients; average daily patient volume 15 to 20; no pediatric patients.
Setting: Outpatient Clinic / Inpatient Hospital
Responsibilities: Outpatient oncology care, inpatient call coverage, hospital rounding during call weekends, tumor board attendance.
Required Procedures: No procedures required
EMR System:
Support Staff: Full-time Registered Nurse (RN), Medical Assistant, chemotherapy-certified RN staff in the infusion clinic
Days Per Month: 2 to 4 weeks on-site each month
On-Call/Weekends: At least 1:4 call and inpatient rounding coverage required; weekend coverage required during 1:4 call rotation
