LocumJobsOnline is working with Alumni Healthcare Staffing to find a qualified Radiation Oncology MD in Long Branch, New Jersey, 07740!

Requirements
Ongoing assignment - Coverage of Radiation Oncology outpatient practice at a community hospital. Includes patients on active treatment, consultations, and follow up visits. May include inpatient consults. *Board Certified* 5 outpatient clinic days/week; Brachytherapy/OR procedures 2-3 days per month. M – F 7:30 – 4 pm Will consider locums coverage for on-call evenings and weekends.
Currently, 2 providers rotate 1 month at a time. 40 patients typically on active treatment at any given time for department (20-25 per provider). Approximately 8-10 consults per week per MD. Approximately 30 follow up patients per week per MD. Support Staff: Yes; RNs support clinic and 2 clerical support people. Full Radiation team supporting patients on treatment (RTs, Physicists, Dosimetrists) EMR System: Aria/Eclipse for all radiation treatment; EPIC for clinic visits Management of SBRT, IMRT, IGRT, 3D treatment patients.
Brachytherapy – Skin, prostate, and gyn onc HDR (however, may not be feasible to add to radioactive license). Machines used: Accuray Tomotherapy, Elekta Versa HD.
