Doctor of Medicine | Hematology and Oncology Location: Grand Rapids, MI Employer: Curative Pay: $200 to $250 per hour Start Date: ASAP About the Position Locums Hematology/Oncology coverage in Michigan with a weekday outpatient clinic schedule and shared call support. The service is structured to be nearly all hematology, with a mix of inpatient and outpatient responsibilities. Highlights 10/1/2025 -12/31/2026 for an FMLA gap Nearly all hematology coverage goal for this position Outpatient clinic Monday through Friday, with shared call 1:5 and APP support Strong team coverage, 6 physicians in the practice, plus dedicated inpatient and outpatient APPs Longer-term FMLA coverage need, approximately October 2025 through December 2026 Practice Setting Mix of inpatient and outpatient Hematology/Oncology Adult and geriatric patient population APP coverage includes 5 inpatient APPs covering 2 hospitals, and 6 outpatient APPs Radiation oncologists available during locums coverage Schedule Outpatient clinic schedule is Monday through Friday Clinic hours are 8a to 5p After-hours call is shared, 1:5, with APP support Cases and Procedures Hematology outpatient clinic work Hematology inpatient coverage Oncology outpatient responsibilities Oncology inpatient responsibilities Requirements Must be an MD or DO Board Certified in Hematology/Oncology Michigan license required, will wait for license with active IMLC LOQ only, open to IMLC Physicians BLS and DEA required If a Monday through Friday clinic schedule with 1:5 shared call and strong APP coverage fits your availability, reach out and we can talk through the coverage timeline and expectations.
