Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist Opportunity

Exciting opportunity for a Board-Certified Hematologist/Oncologist to join a busy, well-established cancer center in Greenville, SC. This role starts as a locum assignment beginning November 1, 2025, with the potential to transition to a permanent position.

Practice Highlights:
• Setting: Free-standing Cancer Center
• Reason for Coverage: Loss of provider
• Patient Population: Adult and Geriatric
• Practice Mix: 65% benign hematology, 35% malignant oncology, 0% internal medicine
• Team: 7 physicians and 6 APPs
• Patient Volume: 25 patients/day outpatient; 20 patients/day inpatient (during call)
• EMR: Epic
• Trauma Level: N/A

Candidate Requirements:
• Board Certified in Hematology & Oncology REQUIRED
• Active South Carolina License REQUIRED (will consider candidates needing to obtain license)
• BLS REQUIRED
• DEA REQUIRED
• Must submit to both locations (Job 60840) REQUIRED

Schedule & Coverage:
• Start Date: November 1, 2025
• Locum Coverage: No call during locum period
• Permanent Placement: Call required, 1 week every 68 weeks
• Estimated Credentialing: 60 days

Required Duties:
• Participation on Tumor Board
• Management of Bone Marrow Transplants
• Blood Bank responsibilities
• Ordering tests and imaging
• Prescribing medications
• Collaboration with Nurse Oncologists for chemotherapy administration

• Mileage reimbursed at IRS Standard Rate
