• Shift: 4 shifts/week, 8-10 hours per day (pending patient volume)
• Hours/week: Approximately 32-40
• Employment Type: Contract / locum
• License/Certs: Active VA medical license required; Board certification or eligibility in Hematology/Oncology
• Experience: Preference for candidates with prior hematology and oncology experience Pay & Benefits
• Hourly Pay Rate: $1.00/hour (note: pay details discussed upon application)

• Provide outpatient hematology and oncology cancer care in a community hospital setting
• Manage a patient volume of approximately 12-15 patients daily
• Conduct patient consultations, diagnosis, and treatment planning
• Participate in light call responsibilities (beeper only, established patients, 2-5 calls/week)
• Collaborate with a team of 3 permanent HemOnc providers, nurses, and support staff
• Utilize EMR (Aria) for documentation and care coordination
• Support long-term care needs, with potential for permanency and long-term commitment opportunities What You Need
• Active VA medical license
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Hematology and Oncology (fellowship required)
• Minimum 1-2 years of relevant clinical experience preferred
• Strong communication skills and a commitment to patient-centered care About the Assignment
