📍 Location: Waterloo, Iowa
👨‍⚕️ Position: Locum Physician – Hematology/Oncology


✨ Opportunity Highlights

✅ Flexible schedule – 2 weeks per month (Monday–Thursday)
✅ Mostly outpatient with very limited inpatient responsibilities
✅ Hospitalists handle admissions
✅ Phone-only call (potentially 1 week + 1 weekend/month)
✅ No supervision of APPs required
✅ Teaching opportunities available
✅ EPIC EMR


🏥 Practice Details

🔹 Clinic volume: 16–20 patients/day
🔹 Average inpatient consults: 0–2 patients/day
🔹 2 Advanced Practice Providers and strong nursing support
🔹 Services include:

Bone marrow biopsies



•
Antineoplastic therapy



•
IVIG



•
Iron infusions



•
Phlebotomies





✅ Requirements

✔ Board Certified Hematology/Oncology (Oncology with strong Hem/Onc experience considered)
✔ Fellowship Trained
✔ Active Iowa License or IMLC
✔ Available at least 2 weeks per month
✔ Clean NPDB & malpractice history
