Locum Hematology/Oncology Opportunity in Pendleton, OR!

Looking for a flexible outpatient Hematology/Oncology assignment with an outstanding work-life balance? ATC Locums is seeking a Board-Certified or Board-Eligible Hematology/Oncology Physician to join a respected hospital-based cancer program in scenic Pendleton, Oregon. This long-term opportunity offers three days per week, no call, no inpatient responsibilities, and the chance to step into an established practice following a physician retirement.

Opportunity Highlights


• Location: Pendleton, Oregon

• Practice Setting: Hospital-based outpatient Hematology/Oncology clinic

• Coverage Dates: Beginning January 1, 2027

• Assignment Length: 9–12 months with ongoing potential

• Schedule: Three days per week (Monday–Thursday availability), 8:00 AM–5:00 PM

• Patient Volume: Approximately 15–18 patients per day with 1–3 consults weekly

• Procedures: Bone marrow biopsies required

• Call: None

• EMR: eClinicalWorks (ECW) and Meditech

• Support Staff: Hematology/Oncology-trained ARNP and experienced nursing team

• Compensation: $615–$650 per hour plus holiday premium pay

• Credentialing: Approximately 30 days


Candidate Requirements


• Board Certified in Medical Oncology or Truly Board Eligible (within five years of training)

• Board Certification in Hematology preferred

• Fellowship-trained in Hematology/Oncology

• Bone marrow biopsy experience required

• Active Oregon license preferred; IMLC-eligible and non-licensed physicians are encouraged to apply with Oregon licensure obtained during credentialing

• BLS and DEA required during credentialing
