Job Description
Role: Hematology and Oncology MD responsible for providing comprehensive cancer and blood disorder care in a community hospital setting.
Responsibilities: Deliver adult hematology and medical oncology treatments, including chemotherapy and procedures for conditions such as anemias, lymphomas, and various tumors; collaborate with nursing and healthcare staff for treatment planning; document patient care using Epic (CareLink) EMR.
Qualifications & Skills: Board certification in Hematology or Medical Oncology; active Hawaii license or IMLC eligibility; DEA/NED registration; minimum 5 years clinical experience preferred; proficiency in oncology procedures, clinical judgment, EMR documentation, and teamwork.
Key Duties: Provide patient-centered oncology care during weekdays with no on-call or weekend duties; administer treatments; work collaboratively; ensure proper documentation; meet credentialing standards.
