Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) – Part-Time
Pathway to Full-Time Los Angeles, CA $65–$75/hour
A leading community behavioral health organization serving homeless and underserved populations throughout Los Angeles is seeking a dedicated Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist (LMFT) to join our clinical team on a part-time basis, with the opportunity to transition to full-time.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide individual, family, and couples therapy using evidence-based approaches.
- Conduct psychosocial assessments and develop individualized treatment plans.
- Deliver services in community-based settings, including shelters, transitional housing, clinics, schools, and outreach locations.
- Collaborate with psychiatrists, social workers, case managers, and healthcare professionals.
- Maintain accurate and compliant clinical documentation.
- Participate in treatment planning, clinical conferences, and quality improvement initiatives.
Qualifications
- Active California LMFT license.
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience; community mental health or behavioral health experience preferred.
- Experience with severe mental illness, trauma, substance use disorders, or housing insecurity highly preferred.
- Strong assessment, crisis intervention, treatment planning, and documentation skills.
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
Schedule
- Part-Time.
- Flexible schedule based on program and client needs.
- Potential transition to full-time based on performance, organizational needs, and mutual interest.
Compensation
$65–$75 per hour, based on experience and qualifications.
