Sharp Memorial Radiation Oncology is seeking an experienced and visionary Lead Medical Radiation Physicist to provide clinical leadership within our growing, technology-driven department. This is a unique opportunity to combine hands-on patient care with strategic leadership, overseeing a team of two medical physicists and four dosimetrists in a highly collaborative and patient-centered environment.

• Construction of a third treatment vault
• Installation of a new linear accelerator with Surface Guided Radiation Therapy (SGRT) capabilities
• Planned transition to the Varian platform

About Our Program

Sharp Memorial Radiation Oncology is an APEx-accredited community practice treating approximately 60 to 70 patients daily. Our program offers a diverse and sophisticated clinical environment while maintaining an unwavering commitment to quality, safety, and patient-centered care.

As Lead Medical Physicist, you will play a key role in both day-to-day clinical operations and long-term strategic initiatives, partnering closely with physicians, therapists, dosimetrists, and operational leaders to deliver outstanding outcomes for our patients.

Qualifications

• Master's Degree Medical Physics, Radiological Physics or a closely related field or Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) Medical Physics, Radiological Physics or a closely related field.

• 3 Years Radiation oncology outpatient experience

• ABR Medical Physics Certification - American Board of Radiology
