Job Description
ppThe Key Account Manager Spain will be part of the South Europe sales team. /ppThe objective of the Key Account Manager is to develop the market and grow profitable sales in the designated territory. The Key Account Manager is responsible for maintaining strong relationships with key decision owners, laboratory personnel and physicians in the targeted hospitals and laboratories. A successful Key Account Manager will focus on growing profitable sales and achieving overall sales objectives and other defined performance metrics. /ph3Accountabilities / Responsibilities /h3ulliEnsuring sales volume, revenue and product mix and meeting the agreed business plan in own territory and engage with other Key Account Managers to meet common team goals; /liliMonitoring sales performance and devise corrective action plans where necessary; /liliDeveloping, maintaining and executing an annual business plan for the territory; /liliMaintaining Key Account plans to maximize business at major accounts; /liliKeeping all customer records accurate and up to date using the Company CRM (Salesforce) regularly; /liliMeeting and exceeding projected sales targets; /liliAttending Sales Meetings and when required, organizing and attending local exhibitions. /li /ulh3Profile Requirements /h3ulliA Bachelor degree in a scientific orientation is preferred or equivalent through experience; /liliKnowledge of the diagnostic market, preferably molecular diagnostics and/or pathology is required; /liliBroad understanding of work flow in pathology labs; /liliSelf-starter, experience in working independently with little direct supervision; /liliCapable of developing and executing business plan in assigned region; /liliBusiness oriented with good local market knowledge; /liliGood complex solution selling skills; /liliStraightforward communication; able to engage healthcare professionals in meaningful dialogue; /liliExcellent presentation skills and negotiation skills; /liliGood interpersonal skills combined with the ability to make an impact; /liliKnowledge of tender signing regulations, CE IVD regulations, GDPR; /liliFluent in Spanish and English, spoken and written. /li /ulh3Our Offering /h3pWe offer you a challenging job in an exciting environment, working for top entrepreneurs in the biotech industry.
