A renowned cancer researcher, dedicated mentor and esteemed member of Sylvester, Dr. Burnstein was honored during a recent ceremony for her outstanding contributions to science, education and leadership. She currently serves as professor and chair of the Department of Molecular and Cellular Pharmacology at the University of Miami Miller School of Medicine and has been a valued member of the faculty since 1991.
