Junior Pricing Analyst

Title: Junior Pricing AnalystLocation: Alexandria, VAUS Citizenship: Required Security Clearance: None Responsibilities:Support the development of cost/price proposals in response to Requests for Proposal (RFPs), Requests for Quote (RFQs), and Task Order solicitationsBuild and maintain pricing models and cost volumes using Excel-based tools, incorporating labor rates, indirect rates (overhead, fringe, G&A), materials, ODCs, subcontractor costs, and profit/feeAssist in developing Basis of Estimates (BOEs) in coordination with capture managers, program managers, and technical leadsEnsure pricing proposals comply with FAR, DFARS, agency-specific supplements, and applicable contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ, etc.)Coordinate with subcontractors and vendors to collect, validate, and incorporate subcontractor pricing and quotesSupport preparation of cost/price volume narratives, pricing assumptions, exhibits, and supporting documentationAssist with rate development, escalation calculations, and wage determination research (e.g., Service Contract Act) as neededMaintain organized, audit-ready pricing files and documentation in accordance with company policy and government requirementsSupport internal pricing reviews, gate reviews, and pink/red team reviews by preparing pricing materials and responding to reviewer commentsCollaborate with contracts, finance, and business development teams throughout the proposal lifecycleAssist with post-award pricing support, including contract modifications, option exercises, and rate updatesRequirements: Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, business, economics, or related field; 4 year's of equivalent experience will be considered in lieu of degreeEntry level (1-2 years) experience in pricing, cost analysis, finance, or proposal support; internship or academic project experience in a related field is acceptable Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelingStrong analytical, organizational, and written communication skillsAbility to work under tight proposal deadlines in a fast-paced, team-oriented environmentFamiliarity with FAR/DFARS and government contract types (FFP, T&M, CPFF, IDIQ)Exposure to GovCon pricing tools (e.g., Deltek Costpoint, Unanet, or similar ERP/pricing systems)Coursework or exposure to government contract pricing, cost accounting standards (CAS), or federal acquisition processesExperience supporting proposal development in a professional services, IT, or defense contracting environmentS.
