Walstead Langwell Services is hiring a Junior Intensive Care & Patient Assessment Public Health Physician for Clinical Research in Pittsburgh, Allegheny County. This is a temporary position.
What you will do
• Manage medicines safely, including controlled drug procedures.
• Keep clinical records complete and contemporaneous for every episode of care.
• Work with pharmacy to reconcile medication on admission and discharge.
• Assess patients on admission and set out a care plan with measurable goals.
• Manage a clinic list and keep waiting times within agreed targets.
• Adapt communication for patients with sensory, cognitive or language needs.
• Work within a multidisciplinary team to coordinate each patient's pathway.
