Birchvale Maplestead Technologies is hiring a Junior Infection Control & Oncology Environmental Toxicologist for Insurance in Lomita, Los Angeles County. This is a full time position.
What you will do
• Prioritise a caseload when demand exceeds the time available.
• Provide health education tailored to the patient in front of you.
• Assess risk before mobilising, transferring or discharging a patient.
• Participate in the on-call rota and cover colleagues when needed.
• Respond to emergencies calmly and lead resuscitation when required.
• Work with pharmacy to reconcile medication on admission and discharge.
• Explain diagnosis and treatment options in language patients and families understand.
