Walcombe Wraywick Solutions is hiring a Junior Emergency Medicine & Oncology Geriatrician for Non-Profit in Vadnais Heights, Ramsey County. This is a internship position.
What you will do
• Contribute to service improvement projects on the ward or department.
• Obtain informed consent and document it correctly.
• Liaise with primary care and community services on continuing treatment.
• Administer prescribed treatment accurately and record every dose given.
• Explain diagnosis and treatment options in language patients and families understand.
• Apply evidence-based guidelines and note when a patient's case departs from them.
• Assess patients on admission and set out a care plan with measurable goals.
