Jerry Jaboin Joins as Vice President of Radiation Oncology, Medical Affairs at Siemens Healthineers

“We are thrilled to welcome Dr. Jerry Jaboin, MD, PhD, MBA, FACRO, FASTRO to Varian as Vice President, Radiation Oncology, Medical Affairs!

Dr. Jaboin brings an exceptional background in clinical practice, academic leadership, and translational research that will accelerate our mission to transform cancer care worldwide. He most recently served as Professor and Chair of Radiation Oncology at the University of Oklahoma Health Sciences Center and as part of the executive leadership team at Stephenson Cancer Center. His prior leadership roles at Oregon Health & Science University and Washington University in St. Louis further reflect his depth of experience.

With expertise spanning neuro-oncology, pediatric radiation therapy, and quality improvement, Jerry has authored over 120 peer-reviewed publications and led pivotal clinical trials, including groundbreaking work in glioblastoma and immunotherapy. He is also a dedicated mentor and a champion for diversity in medicine.

At Varian, Jerry will play a vital role in advancing the next generation of radiation oncology innovation—helping shape new technologies, expand access to care, and improve outcomes for patients across the globe.
