Jason Westin: Pleased to Join ASCO Board of Directors

Jason Westin, Lead of the Lymphoma and Myeloma Service Line at MD Anderson Cancer Center, shared a post on LinkedIn:

“I am pleased to share that I have joined the American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) Board of Directors!

ASCO is essential to advance cancer research, education, policy, career development, and patient care worldwide. Having previously served as Chair of the Government Relations Committee, Treasurer, and Chair of the Association’s Finance Committee, I have seen firsthand the Society’s impact on both the oncology community and the patients we serve.

As a member of the Board, I look forward to contributing to ASCO’s mission of conquering cancer through research, education, and the promotion of high-quality care. I am committed to working collaboratively with my colleagues on the Board to ensure that ASCO continues to lead in driving progress against cancer across the globe.

I am grateful to my colleagues at MD Anderson Cancer Center and across the globe, my mentors, and my family for their continued support as I take on this important responsibility.”
