Position Overview

Osprey Life Sciences is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to lead a fast-paced AI implementation initiative supporting Clinical Operations and clinical analytics.





This is an AI implementation role, not an AI product development position. The ideal candidate will bring strong clinical domain knowledge, technology implementation and vendor management experience, and the agility to operate effectively in a rapidly changing environment. Deep AI expertise is not required; however, candidates should be comfortable with AI concepts, actively use modern AI tools, and be able to quickly learn and adopt new technologies.





Key Responsibilities


- Lead the planning and execution of an AI-enabled clinical technology implementation from requirements through testing, deployment, and operational transition.

- Partner closely with stakeholders across Clinical Operations, Medical Review, Pharmacovigilance (PV), Data Management, IT, and clinical analytics.

- Serve as the primary project liaison between business stakeholders, SMEs, and the third-party implementation vendor.

- Manage project scope, timelines, requirements, dependencies, risks, issues, decisions, and deliverables.

- Coordinate testing and business validation of AI-enabled capabilities, including considerations such as
accuracy, hallucinations, limitations, and fit-for-purpose use.
- Support integration planning across the clinical technology ecosystem, including platforms such as
Spotfire, EDC, CTMS, and related systems and data sources.
- Drive rapid decision-making and execution while adapting to shifting priorities and short turnaround times.

- Support user readiness, adoption, training, and post-implementation activities as needed.

- Leverage tools such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, Copilot, or similar AI technologies to improve productivity, efficiency, analysis, and problem-solving.






Qualifications


- 5+ years of IT Project Management experience, preferably within pharmaceutical, biotechnology, or Life Sciences environments.

- Strong experience supporting Clinical Operations, clinical analytics, clinical data, or related drug development functions.

- Demonstrated understanding of clinical systems, processes, and stakeholder needs.

- Proven experience managing third-party vendors and technology implementations.

- Ability to operate effectively in a highly agile, fast-paced environment with urgent priorities and quick turnaround expectations.

- Strong stakeholder management, communication, organization, and problem-solving skills.

- Technologically savvy, adaptable, and able to learn new technologies quickly.

- Practical understanding of AI concepts and experience using generative AI tools in day-to-day work.






Preferred Qualifications


- Experience with Spotfire or similar clinical analytics/visualization platforms.

- Experience with EDC, CTMS, and related clinical technology systems.

- Experience working with Clinical Operations, Medical Review, Pharmacovigilance, and/or Data Management teams.

- Previous involvement with an AI-enabled technology implementation.

- Familiarity with regulated Life Sciences environments and applicable GxP, data integrity, privacy, and validation considerations.

- PMP, CSM, PMI-ACP, or equivalent certification is a plus.
