Interventional Radiologist
Knapp Medical Center | Weslaco, Texas
Build and Expand an Advanced Interventional Radiology Program
Knapp Medical Center is seeking a Board Certified/Board Eligible Interventional Radiologist to meet growing community demand and expand access to minimally invasive therapies throughout the Rio Grande Valley.
This position offers significant growth potential for a physician interested in building a robust interventional radiology practice with strong hospital support.
Responsibilities
• Employed opportunity
• Established diagnostic imaging infrastructure
• Growing demand for interventional procedures
• Opportunity to develop advanced IR services
• Collaborative relationships with vascular surgery, oncology, cardiology, nephrology, and hospital medicine
• Strong administrative support
• Excellent referral base
Scope of Practice
• Comprehensive Interventional Radiology procedures including:
• Venous access procedures
• Dialysis access interventions
• Peripheral arterial interventions
• Embolization procedures
• Image-guided biopsies
• Tumor-directed therapies
• Drainage procedures
• Interventional oncology services
• Inpatient and outpatient consultations
• Participation in multidisciplinary care conferences
• Opportunity to grow advanced service offerings
