Information Desk Operator, Telecommunications
Nashville General Hospital is hiring for an Information Desk Operator for Telecommunications as a full time job in Nashville, Tennessee.
This position is responsible for answering calls, inquires, and maintaining records.
Information Desk Operator Roles and Responsibilities
- Answering incoming calls and directs calls to the proper department; transfers calls; routes emergency calls.
- Places long distance and local calls as required.
- Pages appropriate personnel.
- Answers inquiries when possible.
- Assists in maintaining up-to-date listings and files.
- Maintaining records of station calls.
Required Skills and qualifications:
- High School Diploma (Equivalent)
- One year switchboard operator experience.
- Excellent communication skills.
