As a Nurse Practitioner, your primary role is to provide compassionate and quality care to patients with serious illnesses in a hospital setting. Consulting physician teams to assist with the palliation of serious illnesses inside of Beaufort Memorial Hospital. You will work closely with a multidisciplinary team to address patients' and their families' physical, emotional, and spiritual needs. The Nurse Practitioner will care for seriously ill patients to help alleviate symptoms and align medical treatments with patients' goals and values.

Qualifications:

a. Minimum Master's Degree in Nursing

b. Valid nurse practitioner license/Board Certification

c. Practicing NP/APRN currently licensed under the provisions of the SC Board of Medicine.

d. Active NPI number.

e. Possess an understanding of principles of hospice care, pain control and symptom management, palliative medicine, pharmacology, and disease processes.

f. Must be innovative, communicate effectively, and demonstrate commitment to hospice philosophy and interdisciplinary teamwork.

g. Possess a valid driver’s license.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $100,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
