Job Description
Start Date: ASAP
Length of Assignment: 3 months
Schedule: Preferred Monday–Friday, 8:00A–5:00P. Client will also consider 3–4 days/week (8- or 10-hour shifts) or two providers alternating 2-week coverage blocks to ensure continuous coverage.
Credentialing: Emergency credentialing available
Patient Volume: 12–14 patients per day, primarily follow-ups with 1–2 new patients daily; occasional Friday afternoon inpatient coverage as needed
Procedures: Full-scope Medical Oncology care, including treatment of all cancer types
Setting: Hospital
EMR: Epic/Beacon
Licence Needed: Pennsylvania with IMLC (required at presentation)
Certifications: Hematology & Oncology Fellowship Trained; Board Certified or Board Eligible
Details:
Outpatient Medical Oncology opportunity with a well-established cancer program supported by a multidisciplinary team. Providers will work alongside 10 RNs, 4 MAs, 2 RN Navigators, 1 PA, 1 NP, 1 Social Worker, 2 LPNs, front office staff, and a Patient Financial Advocate while caring for a balanced mix of follow-up and new oncology patients. The practice includes five oncologists across multiple locations, and providers will not supervise APPs. The infusion center features 20 treatment rooms, creating a collaborative environment focused on comprehensive cancer care. Located in Pennsylvania, this assignment offers the opportunity to practice in a supportive community while enjoying scenic landscapes, historic towns, and convenient access to major Northeast cities.
