“At Burjeel Cancer Institute and Burjeel Holdings, we are proud to announce the launch of the largest Breast Care Center in the UAE.

Up to 60% of women may develop breast lumps at some point in their lives, and timely, expert evaluation is essential. Our specialized team now offers same-day assessment, reducing waiting times for consultations, imaging, and biopsy results from weeks to just a few hours. Yesterday, we welcomed our first patient. She underwent a full evaluation—including ultrasound and biopsy—with the results delivered within 3 hours. Thankfully, the biopsy was negative, and we were able to reassure her that there was no cancer.

This center was purpose-built to address women’s healthcare needs and aligns with our leadership’s vision of eliminating bureaucratic delays, thereby improving the overall quality of life for our patients. We extend our sincere thanks to the Department of Health Abu Dhabi for their continuous support of healthcare initiatives that serve both citizens and residents.
