Nephrology Nurse Practitioner Or Physician Assistant Opening
Hudson Valley, New York, Nephrology NP/PA Opening ~ New Grads Accepted
Seeking a board-certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join a well-established, busy private nephrology group. New graduates are encouraged to apply; comprehensive training program provided. Ideal candidates will live in or near Poughkeepsie, Fishkill, or Newburgh.
Single specialty nephrology group with 6 Nephrologists & 4 Physician Extenders (NP/PA). Affiliations with 5 hospitals, 8 dialysis centers, and 3 regional offices. Busy, growing practice with a strong emphasis on quality patient care.
Schedule Breakdown
• Monday - Friday 8am-5pm
• No weeknight call
• Weekend Call: 1 in 4 or 5 weekends
Clinical Responsibilities
• Training Provided
• Hospital Rounding
• Patient Census: 25-40 Patients per day
• All patients are seen together with a Nephrologist
• Handle new consult requests/follow ups
• Write notes and enter orders
• EMR: Cerner
• *Additional Earning Opportunity: Optional rounding at local nursing home or seeing patients in the office setting
