About the Role
Join MI CASA HEALTHCARE LLC as a Full-Time Hospice Registered Nurse (RN) and make a meaningful impact in the lives of patients and their families. We are dedicated to providing compassionate, high-quality end-of-life care throughout San Antonio and surrounding communities. We are seeking passionate nurses who value dignity, comfort, and excellence in patient care.
Position Type
• PRN
• Per visit pay
Responsibilities
• Provide skilled nursing care to hospice patients in homes, facilities, assisted living communities, and other care settings in accordance with the plan of care
• Perform admissions as needed
• Assess patient needs and develop individualized care plans in collaboration with the interdisciplinary team
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered while ensuring patient comfort and safety
• Educate patients and families regarding hospice services, symptom management, coping strategies, and end-of-life care options
• Complete all clinical documentation accurately and within 24 hours of each visit
• Maintain compliance with Medicare, state regulations, and company policies
• Provide after-hours support during assigned on-call rotation
Qualifications
• Current and active Texas Registered Nurse license in good standing
• Minimum 2 years of nursing experience required
• Hospice, home health, palliative care, or end-of-life care experience preferred
• Strong clinical assessment, time management, and critical thinking skills
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team
• Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Reliable transportation, valid driver’s license, and current auto insurance required
• Experience with EMR systems preferred (Axxess experience a plus)
