Hematology/Oncology Physician Needed for Locum Tenens Coverage

We are seeking a Hematology/Oncology Physician to provide coverage for one week, Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 4:30 PM. The physician will primarily see clinic patients, with the expectation of handling 1-2 inpatient consults daily. The clinic is well-supported by a dedicated exam nurse and administrative staff.
Responsibilities:
• See up to 18 clinic patients per day and handle 1-2 inpatient consults daily.
• Work independently in a well-supported clinic environment.
• Conduct follow-ups and manage treatment plans for patients with various hematological and oncological conditions.
• Inpatient visits are expected, with a typical day involving a dedicated exam nurse and administrative support.
• No admissions are required, but availability for after-hours clinical care questions and emergencies is expected.
• Cases: breast, lung, colon, prostate, melanoma, lymphoma and heme
Requirements:
• Board Certified or Board Eligible
• Maryland license required to apply.
• Minimum of 3 years in Hematology/Oncology.
• CSR License required; DEA not required.
