Faculty Hematology/Oncology Section, San Francisco VA Health Care System
The University of California San Francisco (UCSF) is seeking applications for a faculty position in Hematology/Oncology at the San Francisco VA Health Care System (SFVAHCS). As a key site within the UCSF Hematology/Oncology program, this position offers a unique opportunity to contribute to patient care, education, and research in a collaborative environment.
We are looking for an enthusiastic and skilled physician with an MD, a current medical license, and board certification or eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology. Ideal candidates should aspire to hold an academic appointment at UCSF at the level of Assistant Professor of Medicine or higher. Candidates should demonstrate exceptional clinical skills, a passion for education, and a strong potential for academic research.
Basic Qualifications:
An MD, current medical license, and board certification or eligibility in Hematology and/or Oncology.
Additional Qualifications:
Suitability for an academic appointment at UCSF at the level of Assistant Professor of Medicine or higher.
Demonstrated clinical excellence, a commitment to education, and strong research capabilities.
Eligibility for appointment at the VA.
Salary Information:
For positions that are 50% effort or more: The minimum salary range for this position is $131,200-$344,400, with eligibility for additional compensation under the health sciences compensation plan.
For positions that are 49% effort or less: A reasonable estimate for this position is $93,700-$246,000.
