Hematology/Oncology Physician

• Oncology center with an established provider team

Responsibilities

• Provide comprehensive hematology and oncology care to established and new patients

• Evaluate and manage approximately 12 - 15 patients per shift

• Participate in light call coverage for established patients

• Work closely with an experienced clinical team to support continuity of care

• Deliver high-quality, patient-centered treatment in an outpatient oncology environment

• Support a practice that values long-term continuity and strong patient relationships

Compensation

• Estimated Weekly Pay: $6,160 - $7,290

Shift & Schedule

• Start Date: September 8, 2026

• End Date: October 30, 2026

• Schedule: 4 shifts per week

• Shift Length: 8 - 10 hours per day, depending on patient volume

• Patient Volume: Approximately 12 - 15 patients per day

• Call: Light beeper call for established patients, approximately 2 - 5 calls per week

• Credentialing Timeline: Approximately 60 days

Requirements

• Board certified or board certification eligible in Hematology/Oncology

• Minimum of 1 year of relevant hematology and oncology experience preferred

• Fellowship training in Hematology/Oncology

• Active physician license eligible for assignment in Virginia

• Current ACLS, BLS, and ABLS certifications

• Comfort managing moderate patient volume in a collaborative oncology setting
