Hematology/Oncology Physician

Providence Everett Medical Center is seeking a full-time Hematology/Oncology locum physician for an outpatient role in Everett, WA. This position involves helping to establish a relatively new clinic, primarily seeing new patients, and requires comfort with building a practice within the community. The role includes a combination of clinic hours and call coverage, offering an engaging opportunity for a physician licensed in Washington or IMLC.

• Average patients per day: 10-14

• EMR: Epic

• Level 2 trauma center

Responsibilities

• Primarily seeing new patients with more follow-up visits as the contract continues

• Helping to establish care within the community

• 1 in 6 weekend hospital call coverage (24-hour call, with rounding on Saturday and Sunday)

• 1 in 2 (every other week) weeknight beeper call

• 24-hour weekend call for established clinic patients only, available by phone only with very low census

Compensation

• $450 Hr

• $3,000 24 weekend call

• OT will apply after 40 clinical hours per week

Shift & Schedule

• Full-time hours

• Working M-F 8-5

• 1 in 6 weekend hospital call coverage (24-hour call, with rounding on Saturday and Sunday)

• 1 in 2 (every other week) weeknight beeper call

• 24-hour weekend call for established clinic patients only

Requirements

• Degree Required: MD/DO

• Licensed in Washington or IMLC accepted

• Must be comfortable working in a new clinic

• Must be able to take call as indicated

• No visa sponsorship available
