Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant

We are seeking a compassionate, patient focused and motivated Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join an established outpatient Hematology/Oncology practice in Sandy Springs.

This is a full time position working four days in the office with one remote day each week.

Responsibilities

• Perform comprehensive examinations of Hematology/Oncology patients
• Prescribe medications and treatments
• Develop and implement patient management plans
• Coordinate referrals to other healthcare professionals and medical facilities
• Collaborate with physicians and specialists regarding patient care
• Build strong relationships with patients, families and the care team

Qualifications

• Previous Hematology/Oncology APP experience required
• Experienced Nurse Practitioners and Physician Assistants only; new graduates are not eligible
• Graduate of an accredited NP or PA program
• Current, unrestricted NP or PA license
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast paced outpatient environment
• Compassionate, patient focused approach to care
