Bone Marrow Transplant APP (NP/PA) Locum Opportunity St. Louis, MO Start: Mid-August (Flexible)

Schedule
• Ongoing inpatient coverage

• Day & night shifts available

• Day Shift: 7:00 AM 6:00 PM (may transition to 7:00 AM 7:00 PM in the fall)

• Night Shift: 6:00 PM 7:00 AM

• Monthly schedule provided by the facility

Practice Details
• Academic hospital

• Inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant (BMT) / Hematology & Cellular Therapy

• Adult patient population

• Average daily census: 8 12 patients

• Epic EMR

• Support from attending physicians

Responsibilities
• Bone marrow biopsies

• Stem cell infusions and transfusions

• Admissions, daily rounds, and discharge planning

• Patient and family education

• Management of transplant and cellular therapy complications, including:
• Graft-versus-host disease (GVHD)

• Cytokine release syndrome (CRS)

• Immune effector cell-associated neurotoxicity syndrome (ICANS)

Requirements
• Board Certified NP or PA

• Active Missouri license (or willing to obtain)

• BLS required

• ACLS preferred

• Minimum 1.5 2 years of inpatient Bone Marrow Transplant APP experience

• DEA not required

• CSR not required

Credentialing
• Timeframe varies

• Temporary privileges may be available
