Hematology/Oncology Locum Opportunity

NAME YOUR RATE

Southern, Indiana

• May 2026 – ongoing

• Clinic & Hospital Call

• Monday through Friday: 7am - 4:30 pm (patient appointment hours are 8am - 3:50 pm, with some flexibility)

• All charting and in-basket work is expected to be completed each day. OT will be limited**

• Call is some nights and weekends. - 2nd call

• Will need to round and be willing to take call from the ED or Hosp on staff

Charting System: Epic

Staff: 2 NP,s RN, Rooming staff and Phone Nurse

A physician will see 10-12 patients per day when first starting, but will eventually see up to 16-22 established patients per day once comfortable.

Clinic, infusion, and radiation onc. in the same suite.

Linear Accelerator (LINAC) used

Locum will need to attend the tumor board meeting every Thursday with the practice at noon. **

• General Oncology: no specific procedures required

• Patient Mix:

• Heavier on the Oncology site vs Hematology

• 16 bed unit and chairs

Qualifications

• Board level: Board Certified in both Medical Oncology and Hematology

• 3 Years Experience

• Certifications: BLS, ABLS, ACLS
