Job Description
Job Summary
Role: Hematology-Oncology Physician
Responsibilities: Provide outpatient and inpatient hematology and oncology care, including chemotherapy treatment planning, emergency response to medication side effects, and adherence to NCCN guidelines. Perform inpatient rounding up to 2 hours daily without admitting or discharging patients. Manage an average of 20 patients per day.
Qualifications & Skills: Must be Board Certified, hold an active Indiana medical license, and possess DEA registration. Knowledge of EMR systems, specifically EPIC, is required.
Key Duties
• Work 2-3 days per week, Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 4:30 pm
• Hybrid practice setting with outpatient and inpatient responsibilities
• Respond effectively to medication side effects and treatment needs
• Maintain compliance with NCCN guidelines
• Credentialing process typically takes 45-60 days
