Hematology-Oncology Physician

ECU Health Edgecombe Hospital in Tarboro, NC, is seeking a Board-Certified Hematology-Oncology physician to provide coverage for their team. The position involves mostly outpatient care with rare inpatient responsibilities and no nights or weekends. New providers will participate in an orientation day prior to their first shift.

• 99% outpatient; rare IP 1-2 per year

• Average # of patients/day/providers: 15

• 1-2 APP support

• Level III Intermediate Care Nursery

Responsibilities

• Provide coverage for the Hematology-Oncology team

Compensation

• Pay Rate: $3637.50 - $3937.50

Shift & Schedule

• Position Type: Full-Time

• Mon - Thurs. 8:30am - 5:00pm - with an hour for lunch

• November 16-19

• December 7-10

• December 21-23

• No nights & weekends

• Not required to remain on-site while on call

• No ICU/Critical Care Procedures

• Not required to serve back-up in ER

Requirements

• Degree Required: MD/DO

• Board-Certified Hematology-Oncology physician

• BLS Required from AHA

• No visa sponsorship available
