Program Overview

The Bassett Regional Cancer Program has been continuously accredited by the American College of Surgeons Commission on Cancer as Comprehensive Community Cancer Center since 1947

Accredited by the American Society of Clinical Oncology (QOPI) since 2021

Long-standing ECOG-ACRIN member with nearly 30 years of participation in NCI and other sponsored clinical trials

Collaborative, multidisciplinary care model with onsite Radiation Oncology, Surgical Oncology, Pathology, and Radiology

Active weekly tumor board

Comprehensive patient support services, including Nurse Navigators, Social Workers, Financial Counselors, Nutritionist, and Palliative Care Practitioners




Job Responsibilities: Per diem, outpatient-only hematology/oncology
Qualifications: MD, DO, or MBBS

Board Eligible or Board Certified in Oncology

Current or eligible for New York State medical licensure

BLS certification and DEA registration required
Working Hours: Flexible
