Locums Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner job at Northeast Healthcare Recruitment, Inc.. Wheaton, MD.

We are seeking a Hematology Oncology Nurse Practitioner to provide locum tenens coverage at an outpatient oncology clinic in Wheaton, MD. The provider will focus primarily on oncology patients with some hematology care, working collaboratively with physicians and a multidisciplinary care team.

Key Responsibilities:

Evaluate and manage oncology and benign hematology patients in an outpatient setting

Perform follow-up visits, symptom management, and supportive care

Collaborate with oncologists, nurses, and support staff to ensure quality care

Document care in accordance with clinical guidelines and regulations

Order and interpret labs, imaging, and other diagnostic tests

Requirements:

Board Certified Nurse Practitioner

Active Maryland NP license

Active Maryland DEA and CDS registration

BLS or ACLS certification required

Experience in hematology/oncology preferred
