Job Description
St. Peters Health Partners is seeking a dedicated Physician specializing in Medical Oncology and Hematology to join their team in Albany and Troy, NY. This role involves providing patient-centered care within a collaborative environment, supported by dedicated APPs, nurses, and pharmacists. Practice Info
• Affiliated with Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center, Buffalo NY.
• Physicians see between 15-18 patients/day, with the option for higher volume.
• APPs see about 10-12 patients/day.
• Average Daily Hospital Census: 20-30 patients/day.
• Oncology Service Line mix is approximately 80% oncology, 20% benign hematology.
• Oncology Services Line is moving toward a 1:1 MD:APP model.
Responsibilities
• Administer antineoplastic agents.
• Administer intrathecal, intralesion, and intracavity agents.
• Participate in a 1:5 schedule for inpatient consult/call responsibility (future goal 1:7).
• Participate in after-hours call responsibility Monday - Thursday every 5 weeks.
• Participate in weekend call responsibility Friday - Sunday every 5 weeks.
Compensation
• Annual Salary: $550,000 - $600,000 year 1 & 2, plus a WRVU productivity model.
• Annual Salary: $650,000 years 3-5.
• Quality Bonus: available.
• CME Allowance: $5,000.
• Signing Bonus: available.
• Education Loan Repayment Opportunity.
• Relocation Reimbursement: available.
• 5-year Contract with Stable/Guaranteed Base.

• Hours of Operation: Monday - Friday: 8:00 am - 4:30 pm, closed on Saturdays and Sundays.
• 1:5 schedule for inpatient consult/call responsibility.
• Afterhours Call Responsibility: Monday - Thursday every 5 weeks.
• Weekend Call Responsibility: Friday - Sunday every 5 weeks.
Requirements
• Physician must hold Board Certification with the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certification in Medical Oncology and Hematology, or actively in progress.
• Values patient-centered care and has desire to work within a team model.
• Demonstrates top-notch interpersonal skills in addition to excellent clinical skills.
• Enthusiastic and motivated to provide the best possible care and outcomes.
