Hematology Oncologist

ECU Health Cancer Care-Roanoke Rapids and ECU Health North Hospital are seeking a board-certified Hematology Oncologist to provide locums coverage in Roanoke Rapids, North Carolina. This exciting opportunity involves delivering both inpatient and outpatient clinical care within a leading regional health system. Providers will join a dedicated team to support cancer care services in eastern North Carolina.

• ECU Cancer Care-Roanoke Rapids and ECU Health North Hospital

• ECU Health North is a 204-bed hospital serving Halifax, Northampton and Warren counties

• Features a 24-hour emergency department and offers advanced diagnostics as well as specialty and primary care

• Inpatient and outpatient clinical care (90% outpatient)

Responsibilities

• Screening, evaluation, and treatment of oncology patients in an ambulatory setting

• Inpatient rounding on admitted patients who need consultation

• Expected procedures: Bone Marrow Biopsies

Shift & Schedule

• Coverage needed: November 3rd - 22nd

• Monday-Friday 8am-5pm

• New providers will need to orient the day before their first shift or day of first shift

• No Call

Requirements

• Board-certified Hematology Oncologist

• Hospital privileges at ECU Health North Hospital

• No visa sponsorship available
