Job Summary:
The Sarah Cannon Transplant & Cellular Therapy Program, alongside the Texas Transplant Physician Group, is excited to invite applications for a fellowship-trained Hematology & Oncology physician specializing in hematopoietic cell transplant & cellular therapy.
Qualified Candidates:
• Must be a board-certified or board-eligible hematologist oncologist
• Completion of a fellowship in hematopoietic cell transplant & cellular therapy is required
• Eligible for a Texas medical license
• Part of a team with four physicians and four advanced practice providers (APPs)
Incentive/Benefits Package:
• Employed position with a collaborative environment
• Call schedule of 1:5

About Methodist Hospital Bone Marrow Transplant Program:
• As the sole adult Blood and Marrow Stem Cell Transplant Program in San Antonio, we hold the prestigious FACT accreditation, making us one of the most efficient programs nationally
• With a history dating back to 1993, our expert medical staff has successfully completed over 4,000 marrow transplants, ranking us among the top programs in the nation
• Our facility was the first in North America to receive accreditation from the Foundation for the Accreditation of Cellular Therapy (FACT)
• The program is fully supported with dedicated outpatient clinic/procedure space, a team of eight RN coordinators, specialized BMT nurses, and cutting-edge facilities in a 29-bed HEPA-filtered transplant unit
• The TTI program boasts a robust clinical research portfolio, including HCT and IECT studies, reinforced by dedicated research RNs and data management teams
