• Prisma Health Medical Group-Midlands, in partnership with the University of South Carolina Department of Pediatrics, is seeking a Pediatric Hematology/Oncology Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to join our dedicated inpatient team. This position provides an exciting opportunity to participate in patient admissions, chemotherapy management, and daily hospital rounds while caring for children with a wide range of hematologic and oncologic conditions.

This role offers a rewarding blend of acute and chronic patient care in a supportive academic medical center environment.
•
Highlights:
• Competitive salary with a professional expense allowance
• Malpractice with tail coverage
• Generous benefits including retirement, health, dental and vision coverage
• Epic EMR
• We are a Public Service Loan Forgiveness (PSLF) Program Qualified Employer
The Department of Pediatrics has a record of academic achievement and provides education to medical and physician assistant students, and pediatric residents. The department along with our freestanding Children’s Hospital presently provides 160,000 patient encounters annually with 7,500 admissions and over 35,000 pediatric emergency room visits. The department has 20 divisions, is actively growing with planned new programs and faculty hires and has been recognized as the best teaching department for almost every year in the last 30 years. While primarily teaching clinicians, some faculty are engaged in research with infrastructure support.
With 33,000 team members, 20 acute care & specialty hospitals, almost 3,000 beds, and 400+ physician practice sites, Prisma Health cares for more than 1.2 million unique patients annually. We are committed to improving the health of all South Carolinians through high‑quality clinical care, education, research, and community outreach.
Columbia is the state capital with a diverse population and a large selection of cultural amenities due to the University of SC. Columbia is very family friendly with good schools, a revitalized downtown, nationally ranked zoo, and children’s museum. Outdoor activities are a premium due to our rivers, over 600 miles of Lake Murray shoreline, and state and national parks within 30-minute drives.
