Hematologist/Oncologist - Locum Tenens Coverage

Seeking a Board-Certified Hematology and Oncology Physician

This outpatient role involves providing specialized hematology and oncology care in a large healthcare system's clinic. The clinician will handle a solo caseload of 14-18 adult patients daily, performing patient exams, treatment planning, and chemotherapy prescribing. All documentation must be maintained in the EPIC EMR system. The position requires prescriptive authority and involves no call responsibilities. The work schedule is Monday through Friday, from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, with time allocated for note completion at the end of each day.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage outpatient hematology and oncology cases for adult patients
• Perform patient exams and develop treatment plans
• Prescribe chemotherapy and document all activities accurately
• Utilize EPIC EMR for documentation and billing

Qualifications & Skills

• Board certification in hematology and oncology
• Prescriptive authority
• Experience managing outpatient adult oncology and hematology cases
• Ability to work independently in a solo clinical setting
