Job Description
A nationally recognized cancer program in Champaign County, Illinois is seeking a BC/BE Hematologist/Oncologist to join a high-performing oncology team offering advanced cancer care, academic opportunities, and the ability to tailor practice around individual clinical interests.
Position Highlights:
• Full-time Hematology/Oncology opportunity with a Monday–Friday schedule and rotating call responsibilities
• Practice primarily at a comprehensive cancer center with one day per week at a regional satellite location
• Join a team of 10 Hematology/Oncology physicians
• Opportunity to develop a clinical focus in a specific area of oncology based on physician interest
• Collaborative multidisciplinary care model with radiation oncology, surgical oncology, gynecologic oncology, breast surgery, colorectal surgery, urology, neurosurgery, thoracic surgery, and additional specialists
• Participate in weekly disease-specific tumor boards and multidisciplinary cancer conferences
• Teaching opportunities with medical students and internal medicine residents
• Academic appointment available based on experience and qualifications
• Access to robust oncology research programs, including 100+ active clinical trials
• Opportunity to contribute to investigator-initiated research projects
• EPIC electronic medical record
Compensation & Benefits:
• Compensation: $625K–$700K
