Hematologist​/Oncologist

This outpatient cancer center is seeking a Hematology/Oncology physician for a locum tenens opportunity in Racine, Wisconsin, beginning November 1 and ongoing. The clinician will provide comprehensive on-site inpatient and outpatient care, managing adult patients alongside a dedicated clinical support team. The position features a Monday through Friday schedule with emergency-only call obligations and utilizes the EPIC EMR system.

Practice Info
• Outpatient cancer center providing specialized hematology and oncology services across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Support staff includes a dedicated RN, a medical assistant, and access to an APP
• Patient population:
Adults
• Outpatient volume: 20 patients per day
• Inpatient census: 5-10

Responsibilities
• Provide on-site inpatient and outpatient hematology and oncology coverage
• Evaluate and manage hematologic and oncologic conditions across inpatient and outpatient settings
• Conduct virtual visits
• Complete 80% order entry as part of the clinical workload
• Maintain all clinical documentation through the EPIC EMR system with real-time or end-of-shift charting for all patient encounters
