Hematologist/Medical Oncologist | Academic Faculty | Morehouse & Grady | Atlanta, GA
Morehouse School of Medicine (MSM)is seeking aBoard-Certified/Board-Eligible Hematologist/Medical Oncologistto join the Department of Medicine and provide comprehensive cancer care atGrady Memorial Hospitalin Atlanta, Georgia.
This is an exciting opportunity to join agrowing academic oncology programfocused on clinical excellence, medical education, research, clinical trials, and advancinghealth equity. Faculty appointments are available at theAssistant, Associate, or Professor level, commensurate with qualifications and experience.The Opportunity
• Provide comprehensive inpatient and outpatient hematology and medical oncology care.
• Participate in multidisciplinary cancer care and disease-specific tumor boards.
• Teach and mentor medical students, residents, and future Hematology/Oncology fellows.
• Participate in clinical, translational, outcomes, implementation, or health disparities research.
• Develop and participate inclinical trialsthrough the Morehouse Clinical Research Center.
• Contribute to quality improvement, program development, and growth of the oncology program.
• Opportunities to develop disease-focused programs and pursue academic leadership roles.Qualifications
Required:
• MD or DO degree.
• Board Certified or Board Eligible in Hematology and Medical Oncology.
• Eligible for unrestricted medical licensure in Georgia.
Preferred:
• Commitment to academic medicine through clinical excellence, teaching, research, or leadership.
• Interest or experience developing disease-focused oncology programs.
• Experience with or interest in clinical trials and investigator-initiated research.
