Job Description
The Ochsner Cancer Institute of Ochsner Health is seeking a Hematologist Oncologist Section Head to join its expanding multidisciplinary team in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. The successful candidate will lead multidisciplinary care teams, provide clinical direction, and collaborate with leadership to expand clinical research and cancer care programs. • Participation in the region's largest clinical trials program, featuring the Precision Cancer Therapies Program
• Inpatient consultation only with full Hospital Medicine support
• EPIC medical record platform utilized throughout the Ochsner Health System
Responsibilities
• Provide leadership, direction and coordination of care for Oncology
• Collaborate with Cancer Service Line and system leadership to expand clinical research and cancer care programs in the health system
• Lead multidisciplinary care team
Compensation
• Salary is commensurate with experience and training
