Job Description
Job ID: N/A
We’re seeking a board-certified or board-eligible gynecologic oncologist to cover a locum tenens assignment in York, PA. You’ll be working in an academic hospital environment with additional responsibilities in the ambulatory surgery center and clinic. The role blends clinic and OR time, plus after-hours and weekend call coverage with APP support.
Assignment windows: July 27–August 8, 2026 and September 19–October 12, 2026 (overall coverage period listed as July 27–October 26, 2026). Typical weekday clinic hours are Monday–Friday, 8:00 a.m.–4:30 p.m., with OR days generally scheduled 7:00 a.m.–5:00 p.m. After-hours call is Monday–Friday (APPs take first call), and weekend coverage is 24-hour call on Saturday and Sunday. Expect an office volume of about 15–20 adult patients per day and OR cases as needed.
You’ll document care in Epic and have a supporting team that includes two medical assistants and three PA/NPs. Residents may be assigned to the service during your rotation, and you’ll provide supervision as appropriate. Temporary privileges are available for candidates with a clean file.
Required: active Pennsylvania license or IMLC LOQ, DEA registration, and BC/BE in Gynecologic Oncology. This is a clinical + call coverage role in a dynamic academic setting—ideal for someone comfortable managing clinic care, performing surgeries, supervising trainees, and participating in weekend call with APP backup.
