Piedmont Healthcare is seeking a Fellowship-trained Gynecological Oncologist to join its Oncology program at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA. This role offers the opportunity to establish a practice within a growing service line that currently includes 5 Gynecologic Oncologists across Georgia. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter committed to high-quality, patient-centered care.

• Join the Piedmont Oncology Service line, which currently employs 5 Gynecologic Oncologists serving patients throughout Georgia.

• Practice at Piedmont Fayette Hospital in Fayetteville, GA.

• Collaboration with experienced providers in Gynecological Oncology, Medical Oncology, Radiation Oncology, Pathology, and Complex GI.

• EPIC EHR utilized through the entire system of 21 hospitals and ambulatory clinics.

• Inclusion in Tumor Board, research opportunities, and patient clinical trials.

• Inclusion in the Piedmont Clinic Oncology Clinical Governance Committee.

Responsibilities

• Perform consultations and evaluations of patients.

• Recommend and perform appropriate surgical procedures, including minimally invasive and robotic surgery.

• Prepare and oversee patient oncology treatment plans, including chemotherapy, radiation, and palliative care.

• Participate in community education and cancer survivor support network development.

• Perform hospital rounds on inpatients, including surgical floor and intensive care units.

• Communicate patient condition changes to physician and coordinate care.

• Interact with nursing staff, pharmacy, radiology, and other service lines in the hospital.

• Answer ER calls.

• Perform H&Ps, consults, and write progress notes on inpatients.
