Job Description
The Ohio State University Comprehensive Cancer Center - James Cancer Hospital and Solove Research Institute (OSUCCC - James) is seeking a full-time Gynecologic Oncologist at the Assistant or Associate Professor level. This role offers an exciting opportunity to join a distinguished division of 8 gynecologic oncologists, integrating clinical excellence, translational research, and academic training within a leading academic medical center. The successful candidate will contribute to advancing minimally invasive and complex oncologic surgery, expanding clinical trial portfolios, and fostering patient-centered care.
Practice Info
• The Division of Gynecologic Oncology currently comprises 8 gynecologic oncologists.
• Physicians work closely with specialists in medical oncology, radiation oncology, pathology, genetics, and supportive care.
• The division is deeply committed to education, training residents, fellows, and medical students.
• The Division is led by Dr. Floor Backes.
• The Department of Obstetrics and Gynecology provides comprehensive, patient-centered care across the full spectrum of obstetrics and gynecology.
• Care is delivered across multiple clinical sites, including tertiary and quaternary referral centers.
Compensation
• Academic rank and salary will be commensurate with previous training and experience.

• MD or DO degree
• Completion of an ACGME-accredited Gynecologic Oncology fellowship
• Board-certified or board-eligible in Gynecologic Oncology
• Eligible for medical licensure in the State of Ohio
• Demonstrated commitment to academic medicine, patient-centered care, and collaboration
• Qualify for an academic appointment at the Assistant or Associate Professor level
