Job Description
We are seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) specializing in Oncology to provide comprehensive care on a specialized 30-bed unit focused on female-related issues, primarily GYN Oncology.
Key Responsibilities Include
• Assessing, diagnosing, planning, implementing, and evaluating patient care in collaboration with an interdisciplinary team.
• Educating patients and families on illness management, post-treatment care, and medication administration.
• Promoting patient safety, quality improvement, and regulatory compliance.
• Developing and documenting individualized care plans with clear goals.
• Assessing physical, psychosocial, and emotional needs, respecting patient preferences and values.
Qualifications And Skills
• Current RN license with a Nursing Diploma/Associate's degree; Bachelor's degree preferred.
• No prior experience required, but less than two years of experience is preferred.
• Ability to work in a safety-sensitive environment with alertness and professionalism.
Additional Details
• Provides care for moderate to high-acuity patients requiring complex interventions, including chemotherapy, surgery, radiation, symptom and pain management, palliative, and hospice care.
• Requires working night shifts, typically 3-12 hour shifts.
• Focus on patient-centered care, teamwork, and professional development.
